Barcelona are one of three European giants eyeing Mason Greenwood after the Marseille forward enjoyed a breakthrough season.
Greenwood moved to the French club from Manchester United for £30million in July after spending a season on loan at Getafe.
The forward was arrest in January 2022 on charges of attempt rape, assault and coercive behaviour, but prosecutors later dropp the charges after a key witness withdrew.
At the time, Marseille fans were not happy, while the city’s mayor, Benoit Payang, was openly against signing Greenwood.
It now looks like the England forward could be on the move again soon, having scored five goals and provided one assist in four games ยูฟ่าเบท, which has attracted interest from a number of top clubs.
Those three clubs – Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich – have reportedly sent scouts to watch the 22-year-old in action in the south of France and have been impress.
The Spanish sides are thought to have first track the forward towards the end of 2023 after his displays for Getafe earn him plaudits.
Greenwood ended up scoring ten and assisting six goals in his first season back after the arrest.
More recently, German giants Bayern have been keeping an eye on the Marseille man. Potentially with a view to him forming a striker partnership in Bavaria with countryman Harry Kane.
